Attendance and PC access control for college computer labs. Students check in with a fingerprint, get a PIN for their assigned PC, and the PC stays locked until they enter it. Admins can lock, unlock, restart and view any PC from their desk.
Attendance is marked by hand or by a roll call that students can answer for each other.
Lab PCs are used for things they weren't meant for, and nobody sees it happen.
When something goes wrong, there's no way to tell who used which PC, or when.
Four parts: a check-in kiosk next to the fingerprint scanner, an admin app for records and reports, a lightweight relay server, and a lock screen on each student PC.
We set it up for you. We install and configure the system in your lab and walk your staff through it.
A five-step tour in your browser, with sample data. It doesn't connect to any real PC.
Priced per PC, per year. Every lab is different, so we give a quote based on the number of labs and PCs.
Tell us about your institution and we'll get back to you.
Fingerprint data is read by the scanner at your check-in kiosk and stored in your lab's own database. We'll go through the exact handling with your institution before setup, including your obligations under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
The lock screen blocks the usual shortcuts, including the Windows key, Alt+Tab, Alt+F4 and Task Manager. Students should use normal Windows accounts, not administrator accounts, so the software can't be removed.
Each PC has an emergency unlock for staff, protected by an admin password. Check-ins made while the scanner is offline are synced later.
A cloud dashboard for managing several labs from one place is planned. Join the waitlist to hear when it's ready.
